GENEXPRESS engineers a novel class of biopesticides that boost a plant's immune system and act on invading pathogens at the molecular level. These biopesticides are environmentally friendly and specific to the target pathogen. Currently, GENEXPRESS research is focused on designing biological molecules against fungal and viroid pathogens of economically important horticultural crops.
